DHILORZ joined ANCIENT during the period immediately following the recordings of 'Halls Of Eternity' ('99), when the band found itself without a stable bass player. With the band, including promotional gigs for the promotion of the above mentioned album, in 2000 he records the MCD 'God Loves The Dead' and the year after the full-length well acclaimed album 'Proxima Centauri', giving a slight new musical style and direction to the band. This was followed by numerous tours and a few festival participations including WACKEN 2000 in Germany, the 'Proxima Centauri' European Tour (w/Stormlord & Thyrane as support acts), the Mexican tour (w/ Mayhem) and spread out individual shows in Tel Aviv, Sofia and Timisoara (Romania) where ANCIENT brought black metal live for the first time in the country's musical history.

Musically influenced by various genres, from prog to ellectronic, dark, grind and most of all by the historical New Wave of British Heavy metal and the American Bay Area Thrash at the beginning of the nineties.

Personally influenced by bassists such as Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), CLiff Burton (Metallica) and Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), followed by more contemporary bass players such as Steve DiGriorgio, john Myung and Sharlee D'Angelo.

DHILORZ aside from his work with ANCIENT, has participated in the 90's in numerous bands, the like of Unreal, Infliction, Mudhead, Alice in Darkland, Blacktrip, Iblis and Amphitriumsia in the role of bass player, guitar player and lead vocalist as well.

At the moment he has recorded the latest and most awaited ANCIENT album 'Night Visit', the band's sixth, in the double role of bass player and guitarist. He is also currently invovled in a few side-projects that should soon come to light.
