"Apparently, there's an imposter in Virginia (U.S.A) who claims to be the Lord Kaiaphas. He has been pretending to be me for the past 4 years or more. This imposter even convinced his wife http://www.myspace.com/desadeangel666

Rhiannon that he is the Lord Kaiaphas. So much so, that she had pictures of me in her myspace profile as if I were her husband. I've been informed, that this imposter is not a musician and is of dutch origin. Incredibly, this imposter even has a small following of believers here in America. He has also been making posts as the Lord Kaiaphas in some yahoo 360 group/maillist called "new_satanic_age " for quite a while. My friends from Ancient and I are taking care of this situation. Hopefully, it will soon be resolved, otherwise we will have to take legal action, since this false information and the impression this couple was giving to people is harming the band Ancient, as well as my personal life and reputation. » The guys have finally returned from the long and successful 'Night VisiTour 2005', in the company of Illdisposed (DK) and Final breath (GER). The band wished to express their total appreciation and admiration to all the crew and bands that made this tour work until the end. A big 'HAIL' goes to all the staff at Bruchstein Tours (Singh, Jörg, Paul Speckman and Locke) for the great professionalism and sympathy. A great 'HAIL' and friendly salute goes to all the guys in FINAL BREATH and ILLDISPOSED, no exceptions made, for the great spirit with which the tour was carried out and the fun company which made 1 month feel a lot shorter. Last but NEVER least, Ancient would like to thank and Hail all the people, fans and visitors that attended the shows in this 'Night VisiTour 2005', it was great and hope to see you all again soon !!

» The official 'Night Visit' European Tour (VINDICATION, NIGHT VISITour 2005) which sees ANCIENT alongside ILLDISPOSED (DEN), with support from Final Breath (Ger) on 1 month tour through Europe, is the final stages of confirmation. » Sleaszy Rider Records ( Greece ) is releasing a new edition of the "Det Glemte Riket" album this month, re-mastered and with a new booklet, the label is also in february releasing a CD containing the original "Eerily Howling Winds" demotapes from '93 together with other unreleased demotapes from the beginning of the band's career. The release will be entitled " Eerily Howling Winds - The Antediluvian Tapes ".
Sleaszy Rider have also signed Dreamlike Horror ( the side- project of Aphazel and Deadly Kristin) for releasing their long awaited debut album, release date is set to March 15, more info. can be found on the label's site.

» The band wishes to express their disappointment in having to cut the concert short in front of the great crowd of the 'Tattoo the mind Festival' in Amneville France, 31/10/2004, due to severe technical problems with the sound system. Until next time !

» Supreme Chaos Records ( Germany ) will in march next year release a CD containing the original "Eerily Howling Winds" demotapes from '93 together with other unreleased demotapes from the beginning of the band's career. » The band's management is currently working on booking the official tours for 'NIGHT VISIT'. Ancient will also perform live on the "Tattoo the Mind Festival" in Amneville, France 31/10 opening for the comeback gig of Dissection. Furthermore, the band has been scheduled for a tour in Russia and the surrounding areas, taking place in november. The band plan on touring Europe/ USA/ South America and Japan in 2005. It is a mix between the word 'horror' and the word 'horrible' and it is a concept about a horrorific attitude / state of mind. The lyrics will explain this. The band is very aware of the correct spelling of the word 'Horrible'. Sorry about this remark, but the band thought it was obvious. Evidently, for some people it isn't...

* The band is well at work with the song-writing of the upcoming ANCIENT album, which is scheduled to be recorded in November 2003. The studios will be divided between MIRAGE Studios, Alpha-Omega Studios and the mixing and mastering should be done at STUDIO FREDMAN, in Gothenburg, Sweden. An album title has not been 100% confirmed yet, but a few titles of the new songs are available, amongst those we have, "Envision The Beast", "Fuel The Flames", "Raping The Children Of Abel" and "Night Visit". * Ancient has returned from a very successful tour in Mexico ( together with Mayhem and Sinister ) and is back in the Alps of northern Italy working on the new album. Some info. on the new album will be posted soon on the site, like songtitles and general info. The band is not planning a lot more concerts this year ( possibly some festival dates this summer ) due to work on new material. A video is also planned to be made in october. Ancient has started working on their fifth album for Metal Blade, the band will be recording in the studio of producer Jacob Hansen (who also did Proxima Centauri) in the very south of Denmark this summer. The line-up is the same as on the last album, though Deadly Kristin is moving to the USA this spring. An album-title hasn't been set yet, but the band is planning a very strong, powerful album following the direction of Proxima Centauri. The band will be taking some small breaks in the writing process and do some concerts around Europe in march and april, as well as a trip to South America where possibly some live- recordings will take place.
